Meet Todd Fitz – A Highly Experienced Workers’ Comp Lawyer

One of our areas of expertise at Schiff & Associates is workers’ compensation claims and our lead attorney on these cases is Todd Fitz.  Todd brings to the firm his years of experience in skillfully navigating the complex and specific rules governing BWC claims.

Todd graduated from the University of Mt. Union in Alliance, Ohio in 1984 with a major in Business Administration and later attended the evening program at the Capital University Law School.  He not only graduated from law school in the top 23% of his class but finished in the top 8% on the Ohio Bar examination.  His honors included being named to the Order of the Curia National Legal Fraternity and receiving the American Jurisprudence for outstanding study in Contracts II. Professional associations include the Ohio Association for Justice, Ohio State Bar Association, and Licking County Bar Association.

His extensive background in workers’ compensation matters includes the position of Director of Legal Relations for The Longaberger Company where Todd oversaw their Self-Insured Workers’ Compensation program.  He has also represented injured workers both administratively and in court for an Ohio workers’ compensation firm.  In addition before coming to Schiff & Associates, Todd started his own firm with a focus on wrongful death, personal injury and workers’ compensation cases. During this time, he also worked for Sheakley Uniservice representing employers throughout Ohio on workers’ compensation issues.
